According to HAWA, in the first eight months of 2022, Vietnam's export turnover of wood and wood products reached US$11,156 billion, up 7% over the same period in 2021. Although export turnover increased strongly in August 2022, the effects of inflation and uncertainties in the global economy still continue to negatively affect the Vietnam’s export growth of the wood and wood products, as well as other products in the last few months of 2022.

VietnamWood still attracted over 220 exhibitors and iconic brands from 25 countries and regions, such as Homag, Michael Weinig, SHODA, DIEFFENBACHER, LEITZ, JOWAT, SCM, Biesse, NANXING, LEADERMAC, IMOS, Cabinet Vision, Felder, JAF, HAFELE, BLUM, Vetta Co., Ltd, Thuan Hien, Fuvico, Quoc Duy and KEYCES. Not only is fulfilling the increasing demands of furniture market, VietnamWood also representing a platform of networking to business growth.

Not surprisingly, there are international pavilions united to be the part of celebration of this long-awaited comeback: Canada Pavilion organized by Canadian Wood (Forestry Innovation Investment Ltd) and Quebec Wood Export Bureau (QWEB); France Pavilion organized by French Timber & Business France; Germany Pavilion supported by the German Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers' Association (VDMA); Russia Pavilion organized by Development Agency BRICS; Taiwan Pavilion organized by Taiwan Woodworking Machinery Association (TWMA); US Pavilion organized by The American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services(NCDA&CS), ORISSA and Austria Pavilion, showcasing the global value chain of the woodworking industry and creating an immense connection between the woodworking industry and furniture industry in Vietnam.

The VietnamWood will take place on 4 days from Tuesday, 18. October to Friday, 21. October 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City.
