3,300 Runners Race for a Meaningful Cause

FV RUN 2026  the inaugural season bearing the message "Run with Heart – Run for Hope" — connects sports lovers, families, and the community to join hands for children needing medical support. The race registered 3,300 runners, accompanied by more than 20 professional athletes and key opinion leaders (KOLs), including Ha Manh, Phuong Trinh, Khoi Huynh, and Trieu Tien Luyen.

The event also welcomed nearly 200 international runners from South Korea, China, the UK, Taiwan, and Japan, creating a colorful sports festival where the community connects through a shared passion for running and a spirit of giving.

Representing FV Hospital, Dr. Jean-Marcel Guillon, CEO, will also participate in the race. He shared: "I am competing in the Half Marathon at FV RUN to encourage more people to join, embrace the joy of movement, and spread the spirit of sharing within the community."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thu, Marketing and Business Development Director of FV Hospital and Chairwoman of The Children of Vietnam Charitable Fund, expressed: "Throughout our nearly 20-year journey, the most meaningful reward for The Children of Vietnam Charitable Fund has been witnessing children in difficult circumstances receive access to treatment, step by step improving their health and looking toward a brighter future. We believe that every helping hand, whether big or small, can contribute to changing a child's life. With FV RUN, we hope the spirit of giving will continue to spread so that more and more children receive support on their journey to regain full health and a complete childhood."

With over 3,300 registered runners, the inaugural season marks a strong community response to a race that bridges sports and charitable giving. At the event, FV Hospital presented 1 billion VND to The Children of Vietnam Charitable Fund—representing 100% of ticket sales revenue—to support surgical and medical expenses for children in difficult circumstances.

Four Categories Designed for Various Ages

FV RUN 2026 takes place in the Phu My Hung Urban Area, HCMC, featuring four race categories: Family Run 3KM, 5KM, 10KM, and Half Marathon.

Among them, the Family Run (3KM), with 250 registered runners, is organized as a relay for three-member teams, requiring at least one child aged 6–14. Each member runs a 1 km segment, giving families the opportunity to move together and share the joy of crossing the finish line.

In the individual categories:

5KM: Registered 1,201 participants.

10KM: Attracted 1,187 runners.

Half Marathon (21.1KM): 662 runners ready to conquer the challenge.

From the first running strides to endurance journeys requiring resilience, each category opens up an opportunity for participants to push their limits and immerse themselves in the sports festival.

Media Ambassador Ha Manh shared: "I am impressed by the running route in Phu My Hung, where runners can challenge themselves while enjoying the spacious urban environment. Beyond the running experience, I highly value the Organizing Committee's thorough preparations, especially the medical care provided by FV Hospital and ACC Clinic. I believe FV RUN will deliver a professional sporting event where everyone can enjoy active living and community connection."

Thorough Preparation with a Focus on Participant Safety

Serving as both the organizer and medical sponsor for FV RUN 2026, FV Hospital deployed medical teams and support posts along the race routes to promptly handle any arising situations. In addition, ACC Clinic — Vietnam's first specialized chiropractic center — accompanies the event to support athletes with post-race recovery in the Recovery Zone.

FV plans to organize FV RUN as a recurring annual event, ensuring each season delivers not only a vibrant sports festival for the community but also continues mobilizing individuals, families, and businesses to contribute resources to The Children of Vietnam Charitable Fund. Starting from these initial strides, FV aims to build a long-term journey alongside the community, where healthy living goes hand-in-hand with compassion and hope for children in need.
