INCHAM: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE DOCTOR TO SAVE A LIFE

The Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM) on Sunday collected about 200 blood donors as well as 222.6 units of Blood at its annual blood drive – the Blood Donation Drive – in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, from both Indian Community and Vietnamese.

Keeping holding humanity events annually to help the community in Vietnam, Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM) also organized this year Blood Donation Drive in co-ordination with Blood Transfusion Hematology Hospital on 12th August 2018 between 8 AM –15 PM at The Youth Cultural House – 4 Pham Ngoc Thach Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.

INCHAM is the body representing the Indian businesses in Vietnam. This year, Incham is celebrating 20 years of establishment with many events in HCMC for Indian community in Vietnam as well as Vietnamese companies. Besides business promotion activities, INCHAM organizes various charity events and cultural exchange events in Vietnam. By organizing the INCHAM BLOOD DONATION DRIVE 2018, we are creating awareness in the society about the importance of saving precious life by donating blood besides adding blood units in Blood Bank. With the opening ceremony participation of Dr.K.Srikar Reddy – Consul General of India, Mr Dilbagh Man Mohan Singh – INCHAM Chairman, Ms Ho Thi Trinh Anh – Vice Chairman of VIFA, Mr. Duong Quoc Tuan – Head of Information Department of HUFO.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. K. Srikar Reddy – Consul General of India highlighted the importance of Blood Donation which can help to save thousands of lives. He inspired the fellow Indians to come forward and donate blood to safeguard life of others.

INCHAM Chairman - Mr Dilbagh Man Mohan Singh expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Indian fraternity, Vietnamese friends as well as friends from other countries in HCMC who volunteered to donate blood during this annual drive extending invaluable service towards the needy patients. Donors were given refreshments and a certificate of appreciation for this service to humanity.

For all Donors, Blood Transfusion Hematology Hospital of HCMC will issue a Donor card and undertake to give an equal amount of blood donated FREE of any charges in a situation where the donor needs it. This card does not have any time limitation.
